Air fryer bacon wrapped jalapenos are some of the best appetizers or snacks you can have. They’re easy to make, but above all, they have such a delicious kick that it’s hard to stop at just one.

Also known as air fryer jalapeño poppers, they are a great way to get your next party started. Everyone who likes their food on the spicy side will hover around these yummy treats.

We enjoy these on game day as well as any other event that brings people together. Crispy bacon wrapped around jalapeno halves are a huge hit because they have a great flavor and they’re fun to eat.

They’re also perfect for anyone trying to follow a low carb diet. If you like spicy foods, you need to give them a try.

Air Fryer Recipes

Ever since I got my Instant Vortex air fryer, I’ve gone a little crazy making a variety of foods. My air fryer is made by the same company that makes the Instant Pot, so you know it’s good.

A lot of people don’t realize that air fryers don’t actually fry food. When you prepare dishes in them, they’re convection cooking, so the food comes out much healthier than deep-fried food. You can cook most foods in less time than it takes in the oven or on the stovetop.

Everything I’ve made in it has turned out great. I’ll put an Amazon Associate link to several air fryers that have good ratings in the recipe card below. If you’re in the market for a new air fryer, I always recommend getting the biggest one that will fit on your kitchen counter.

You’ll love making everything from these delicious air fryer bacon wrapped jalapenos to these delicious French fries. They’re pretty much the best I’ve ever tasted.

Here are some more of our favorite air fryer recipes:

Air Fryer Carrots – Something about air frying carrots brings out the sweetness in carrots.

Bacon Wrapped Chicken Tenders – Yes, bacon does make everything better.

Ranch Air Fryer Chickpeas – Delightful little snack with a lot of crunch.

“Boiled” Eggs – You can air fry eggs in their shells and come out with perfect “boiled” eggs every time.

Crispy Air Fryer Chicken Thighs – Leave the skin on and see how crunchy and juicy this chicken turns out. Mmm, so good! It’s definitely one of my favorite recipes.

Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Jalapeños Ingredients

If you’ve never made these delicious spicy treats, you’ll be blown away by how easy they are to make. They only have 3 essential ingredients.

It’s amazing what you can do with a slice of bacon and a handful of jalapeño peppers. You only need one more ingredient to take them to a crazy-good state of yumminess.

Here’s exactly what you’ll need:

  • Jalapeno peppers
  • Cheese cut into strips (mozzarella, cheddar cheese, or jack cheese)
  • Bacon slices cut in half

That’s it! Just 3 ingredients!

For exact measurements of each ingredient and full directions, go to the recipe card at the bottom of the page. You can even print out the card by using the “print” button.

You can also use a cream cheese filling. Just be careful about not overfilling the jalapeños, or the cream cheese will all wind up in the bottom of your air fryer basket.

Other things you might want to add are chopped green onions, cilantro, garlic powder or any fresh herbs. Don’t be afraid to experiment to make these air fryer jalapeno poppers to suit your taste.

Note: If you use thick-cut bacon, you’ll want to leave them in the air fryer a minute or two longer. Keep an eye on them to make sure they don’t burn.

How to Make Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Jalapeños

Spray cooking oil into the bottom of your air fryer to prevent sticking. Some of the cheese is still likely to ooze out and stick a little bit. Preheat the air fryer to 375˚ F.

First, cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise. With a small paring knife, scoop out the seeds if you want to tone down the heat.

Secondly, cut the cheese into enough strips to fill the pepper halves.

Press the cheese inside the peppers. If you’re using cream cheese or a cream cheese mixture, spoon it into the peppers.

Now cut the slices of bacon in half. Wrap the bacon around each cheese-stuffed pepper.

The end of the bacon should stick to itself.

However, if it doesn’t you may secure it with a toothpick.

Place poppers into the air fryer basket in a single layer.

Now they’re ready to cook.

Air fry for 18 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and brown.

You can check on it a couple of minutes before before that, but mine took the full 18 minutes.

Keep in mind that the type of air fryer make a difference with the cooking time.

My air fryer cooks pretty hot. When I use my toaster oven that has a convection setting, it takes about 3 minutes longer.

More Easy Recipes

I love easy recipes. In fact, almost everything I make is easy and nothing takes much time—at least not much prep time. Some of my recipes call for slow cooking, but I can generally do what I have to do in half an hour or less.

Even if you make these yummy air fryer bacon wrapped jalapenos, you’ll want other things on your snack table. Whether you’re looking for a game-day snack or a fun side dish to serve at a dinner party, I think you’ll enjoy these dishes:

Pepperoni Pretzel Pizza Bites – This is another super easy and yummy game-day food.

Easy Spinach Dip – Perfect for dipping chips, bread, or veggies.

Roasted Pecans – I’m so happy that pecans are now available year-round so I can enjoy then when I want something crunchy and nutty.

Classic Baked Mac and Cheese – Nothing says comfort more than this delicious cheesy casserole.

Mama’s Potato Salad – My mother’s potato salad was always the first to disappear off the buffet table at family gatherings. It’s that good!
